As a VISION EASE employee, you’re part of a team. You will work with a group of authentic, approachable and collaborative people to make a strong impact on our products and services, all while you excel in your career.
The foundation of our success is our employees. Their specialized experience and strong customer service help us continually find better ways to work with our customers and partners. We challenge our employees to seek continuous improvement in themselves, our products and our brands.
Careers at VISION EASE span a number of areas, including engineering, research & development, sales, product development, supply chain, operations, finance, marketing and human resources.
There is no typical career path at VISION EASE. We give employees flexibility to move both horizontally and vertically. Employees have unique opportunities that allow them to pursue their interests, use their talent, work on things that they are passionate about and bring out the best in themselves.
Kristen started her journey at VISION EASE in 2012 as a materials scientist intern in the Research & Development Emerging Technologies group. Once she graduated from University of Minnesota, she was promoted to a materials engineer, working on root cause analysis initiatives and color metrology theory. In 2014, Kristen took on the role of supplier quality engineer and currently works with our global raw material suppliers.
“My favorite thing about VISION EASE is that it is a forward-thinking company with an employee culture based off of change and continuous improvement. My co-workers challenge each other and themselves to find solutions to a spectrum of challenges that allow for growth in every department. This truly makes us possibility seekers.”
When asked about using three words to describe her co-workers, Kristen said they are cooperative, passionate and motivated.
In her spare time, Kristen enjoys rock climbing, cooking and volunteering through the Society of Women Engineers – Minnesota section as their social media chair.
Seydou worked at International Refugee Center with a background in business law in his home country. After moving to the U.S., he decided to do something different to diversify his experience. Seydou started as a line operator at VISION EASE in 2014, as a contractor. He was recognized as Employee of the Month within his first three months. When a role opened in the film area later in the year, Seydou applied for it and became a full-time VISION EASE employee.
Seydou loves to help out coworkers. “When there are new people coming in, my manager always asks me to help with their training.” It was this responsibility and willingness to help that led him to be recommended for a leadership role – shift leader.
“The most important part of the VISION EASE culture that I like is that people are willing to help you in whatever you need help with. There is always someone there and willing to explain in the best way they can to help you understand what your questions are about.”
Today, Seydou seeks deeper knowledge about operations by looking into opportunities for engineering coursework through the VISION EASE tuition reimbursement program. He is looking forward to building a bright career with VISION EASE.
Michael joined VISION EASE in April 2014 as an automation engineering manager. With his curiosity of learning different aspects of engineering and the leadership skills gained through his military experiences, Michael was promoted to director of U.S. operations & global engineering manager.
The collegial working environment, as Michael describes, is his favorite part of the VISION EASE culture. “People at VISION EASE are willing to have constructive criticism to agree and disagree. We are open to listen, understand and improve together. This makes us more productive and achieve better outcomes as a team.”
Coming from the U.S. Army, Michael found an immediate connection with the environment and people at VISION EASE. “In the military I have learned to always focus on making improvements, and I think it is the same for organizations and individuals. Here people always ask ‘how can we do this better’ and ‘let’s look at this in a different way.’ As a company we are continuously changing and keeping an open mind.”
When not at work, Michael loves to spend time with his family and children, read and train for triathlons.
