Medal of Honor Convention thanks VISION EASE for its support
More than 5 percent of VISION EASE employees in Minnesota have served their country through the U.S. military. These individuals bring a wealth of skills and experience that add to our company.
In recognition of our veteran employees, VISION EASE sponsored the 2016 Medal of Honor Convention in the Twin Cities. On July 12, the Congressional Medal of Honor Society presented VISION EASE with a commemorative book in honor of its support.
The convention brought together veterans, military personnel and community members over its five days in October. The book captures moments from the week, including a reunion at Mill City Museum, a welcome ceremony at U.S. Bank Stadium and more than a dozen visits to elementary, middle and high schools throughout Minnesota.
VISION EASE sponsored a table at the event’s gala. The table was filled with VISION EASE military employees and their guests.
“We have a great network of veterans across our company, and this event was a way to say thank you to our veteran employees for their years of service,” said John Weber, CEO and former U.S. Army Captain.
VISION EASE’s Vice President of Global Operations and former U.S. Army Captain Cass Lundgren added, “Because of their experience while serving our country, veterans understand the meaning of sacrifice, teamwork, hard work and mission accomplishment. These four principles are very consistent with the culture at VISION EASE, and we welcome the great character that service members embody to help strengthen our team.”
