Powerful Eye Protection

Many people are aware of the damaging effects that the sun has on their skin. In fact, the National Cancer Institute’s Cancer Trends Progress Report shows that 70% of adults say they usually or always practice at least one method of sun protection – use sunscreen, wear sun-protective clothing, or move to a shady area. But while many are protecting their skin from sun damage, the majority of people are not aware that their eyes are also at risk.

Sun lenses provide essential protection and enhanced visibility across various environments.

In snowy conditions, UV-blocking, polarized, and mirrored lenses are excellent for reducing the harmful effects of sunlight and glare reflected off snow. Brown lenses are particularly effective, as they absorb blue light, reducing haze and highlighting the changing textures of snow.

On the water, polarized lenses minimize glare, with gray lenses being ideal for deep-water fishing and brown lenses for streams.

For driving, polarized lenses enhance safety by eliminating glare, while brown and green lenses improve contrast in both overcast and sunny conditions.

On the sports field, brown or green lenses enhance contrast and depth perception, making it easier to track fast-moving objects like balls.

For tennis, brown lenses boost contrast against various surfaces, while gray lenses offer balanced comfort on bright days.
